Its been a while since I did some serious listening....that should have been singing but I don't remember ever being serious about anything other than myself!
There goes my obsession with Moi!
Coming back to what I wanted to state / share....I realised there's so much I have missed out in my growing years...am still growing...(read that Old) and missing so much.
But again, of late have tried to get back to listen / collect all the beautiful music I grew up with...Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, English...not just film songs but even folk and devotional numbers.
Eclectic range is what I hear and it amazes me to think that a lot of my friends have grown up on Rock in the 80's and 90's and I am listening to a lot of it now! Thanks to friends old and new who've given me an amazing range to listen to and the internet which gives you scope to discover so much more. Its never too late!
I remember a lot of old Tamil songs...most Ilayaraja numbers and some very good Telugu songs though I can't in the world figure out when I ever heard them.
Its not important as long as you enjoy it!
And all this is being written because I've rediscovered BJH - that amazing Rock band whom I first heard almost 8 yrs ago and heard them only a few days back again!
Its such a pleasure!
