I came across this article which spoke about India’s coolest buildings on a news website.
Thinking it was something to do with the most eco-friendly structures, I read through the article and at the top of the list was “The Antilla” – Mukesh Ambani’s residence.
My first reaction when I saw this structure, when it was unveiled(!) was – What a grotesque structure! It looked like a Gargoyle on the Mumbai skyline.
The reaction to this article was no different. What made the writer of that article to call it “Cool” – neither is it the most “Hot” looking buildings that it should come into the “Cool” category, nor is it the most attractive or the most elegant nor any other such aesthetic term can be used for this building.
Except for being the most expensive (read that as ostentatious!) building – like that classifies it as cool – there is nothing “Cool” about The Antilla!
